If you're interested in trying out being a Driveway Dogs host, this is the page for you. At a bar minimum you need the following:

• A Driveway (or some equally open and inviting, low-barrier to entry space). Some apartment complexes have public areas on the first floor; this can work

• A grill, or some way to cook hot dogs. I use a propane grill.

• Hot dugs and buns. We get our hot dogs and buns from Sam's Club, but you can get them anywhere.

• Pitchers or coolers of water and/or lemonade. Drinks are of course up to you; we have found that water and lemonde are pretty universally accepted and relatively inexpensive. We use coolers like this: 

• Places for people to sit. This can be lawn chairs, folding chairs, camp chairs, whatever you have. This is optional, but in general people like to sit down while they are eating. 

• Condiments! Ketchip and mustard are standard but you can put out whatever you like.
